Here is a message from Malcolm who did his very best in difficult circumstances.  Note how much he was shivering when he took the photograph at the start!

"A very wet and soggy walk today with a consistant heavy downpour from start to finish.  Here is the route as planned ...



... but because of heavy rain we finished having to deviate from this and use the road back from the mill field to Kirton to avoid heavily mudded and flooded fields.  Thirteen ramblers started and thirteen drowned ramblers finished.  Here are a few shots I was able to get but had to give up half-way otherwise the wet would have wrecked the camera."
