Osbournby, Swarby, Aunsby, Dembleby and Newton, 1st May 2022

Paul's 9.2 miles walk explored the villages and open, undulating landscape of Lincolnshire using roads, footpaths, grassy tracks and some cross-field paths. A very ecclesiastical walk visiting no less than six churches.

The start next to the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Osbournby

Jubilee Seat, Osbournby.
When the much loved chestnut tree in the village was felled, it was decided to re-plant it and to create this carved seat to celebrate the Royal Jubilee ten years ago. Each panel was carved by a separate individual from the village, most of whom were new to woodcarving. The basic outline was inspired by the carved oak pew-ends
