Bradgate Park and Beacon Hill, 2nd July 2017

Roger's ten-mile route took fourteen us from Swithland Woods, through Woodhouse Eaves and up to Beacon Hill, then on to lunch near Ulverscroft Priory before heading to Newtown Linford for ice cream.  The group then split with Roger heading to the Leicestershire Yeomany War Memorial and Old John Tower (orange route) and the rest along the path to visit an archaeological dig and then back via the edge of Cropston Reservoir (blue route).
