Today's walk started at Trowell Village Hall and made use of two sections of the 30 mile Erewash Valley Trail which ranges from Trent Lock in the south to Langley Mill in the north and makes use of both the Erewash Canal and Nottingham Canal. The 4.7 mile walk preceded the Nottinghamshire Area Ramblers AGM organised by the Nottingham Ramblers Group.
