In very hot weather with thunderstorms forecast, John took twelve members on a 9-mile walk between Southwell and the River Trent, first to Morton and then on to the banks of the Trent at Fiskerton. From there, the route took us firstly to Rolleston for lunch, then back over the railway line to Rolleston Mill, round Southwell Racecourse and then followed the Greet back to Southwell.
